Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Intellectual Property Associate with a technical or engineering focus to join their team in Wheeling, WV. The ideal candidate will have two to four years of experience in intellectual property matters, including patent and trade secret cases. Duties

• Handle intellectual property litigation cases, focusing on patents and trade secrets.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive legal documents.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies.
• Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Membership in the State Bar of the office location.

Education

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent preferred.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of the office location.
