Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Senior Associate with four to five years of experience in emerging companies and venture financing for their Palo Alto, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising startups and venture capital firms, with a focus on business formation, equity financings, and mergers and acquisitions.

Duties

• Advise clients on business formation and equity financings.
• Guide emerging companies and startups through growth and financing stages.
• Collaborate with venture capital firms on investments and portfolio matters.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, managing teams effectively.
• Mentor and train junior associates.

Requirements

• Four to five years of post-JD experience in relevant practice areas.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state/jurisdiction of the position.
• Strong analytical skills and a collaborative work approach.

Education

• Juris Doctor

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing transaction teams.
