Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney in Texas to join their team. The firm handles a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, custody disputes, and property agreements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and uphold high standards of work quality and professionalism.

Duties

  • Draft pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents with precision.
  • Counsel clients through litigation, including preparation for hearings and depositions.
  • Conduct discovery with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively in the courtroom and with clients and opposing attorneys.
  • Provide expertise in complex property division for high-net-worth individuals.
  • Demonstrate tenacity in delivering results for clients.

Requirements

  • JD granted in 2021 or earlier.
  • Licensed by the Texas Bar.
  • Experience in courtroom proceedings.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Board certification in family law is a plus.

Skills

  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand and absorb new information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, and other necessary programs.
  • Commitment to practicing law at the highest level of skill and ethics.
