Job Overview

A national law firm is seeking a skilled Immigration Associate with at least two years of experience in business immigration law to join its Labor & Employment practice group. The successful candidate will contribute to a sophisticated practice representing employers in a broad range of immigration matters, with opportunities for client engagement, growth, and career development across multiple office locations.

Location

Duties

  • Prepare and manage business immigration filings, including PERM labor certification applications

  • Handle H-1B, L-1, and other nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions

  • Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, documentation, and compliance

  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex immigration matters

  • Conduct legal research and prepare supporting memoranda and briefs

  • Maintain case files and track key deadlines and requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business immigration law

  • Experience with PERM, H-1B, and L-1 filings required

  • Ability to manage a high-volume case load

  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • Strong academic performance required

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • In good standing with the applicable state bar
