Duties:

• Represent individual practitioners and healthcare entities in professional liability matters

• Oversee all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation

• Conduct depositions of experts, plaintiffs, and key witnesses

• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and evidentiary motions

• Collaborate with medical experts and analyze complex medical records

• Provide strategic legal analysis and risk assessments to clients

• Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and trial proceedings

• Ensure all case files are managed efficiently and comply with procedural deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of civil litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on medical malpractice or healthcare-related claims

• Proven courtroom and deposition experience

• Strong knowledge of procedural and substantive law applicable to professional liability

• Capable of managing a full case docket independently

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Member in good standing with The Florida Bar
