Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Toxic Tort Attorney in San Francisco, California. This role involves representing clients in complex legal challenges related to toxic tort matters, including talc, silicosis, and asbestos cases. The position offers a flexible, hybrid or remote working arrangement.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of California.
• 8+ years of toxic tort litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with asbestos, talc, silicosis, or related toxic torts preferred.
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions required.
• Experience cross-examining plaintiffs and other fact witnesses preferred.
• Court appearances, depositions, and trial experience a plus.
• 2nd chair trial experience a plus.
• Superior analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
