Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Middletown is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 4 years of experience. The candidate will be involved in various aspects of litigation, including case preparation, legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, as well as courtroom appearances.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on issues relevant to ongoing litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Assist senior attorneys in case management and strategy development.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar in Middletown or eligibility for admission.
• 4 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
