Job Duties:

  • Assist lead trial lawyers in managing a caseload from intake through litigation, trial, and settlement

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Oregon
  • 1-2 years of experience in a legal role; courtroom experience strongly preferred, either as a lawyer trying cases or as a judicial clerk
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and a desire for career growth
  • Strategic-minded with a history of creative thinking and problem-solving
  • Evidence of discipline, such as mastery of a hobby, a sport, etc.
  • Turning exposure to hardship into insights about the human condition that are transferable to brutal cross-examination skills and a strategic mindset
  • A history of hard work, particularly in manual labor, is a plus

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
