Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate in New York. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, lending, joint ventures, leasing, construction, development, land use, entitlements, and low-income housing tax credit transactions. Admission to practice law in New York is required or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Duties

  • Handle real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Manage lending and joint venture agreements.
  • Oversee leasing, construction, and development projects.
  • Advise on land use and entitlement matters.
  • Engage in low-income housing tax credit transactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in real estate transactions.
  • Admitted to practice law in New York or eligible for prompt admission.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
