Job Overview:

A prominent law firm is seeking experienced Counsel and Partner-level attorneys to join its growing practice in Denver, CO. Ideal candidates will bring 7+ years of experience from top-tier law firms in one or more of the following practice areas: Commercial Real Estate, Tax, Finance, and Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with a portable book of business, ready to step into a leadership role with an anticipated partnership track within 12-18 months.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage high-profile client matters within the firm’s key practice areas
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of legal professionals to deliver strategic, high-quality legal services
  • Manage and grow a client portfolio, ensuring the firm's continued expansion and success
  • Guide junior attorneys and other team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Act as a key advisor to clients, offering creative and effective solutions across various legal challenges
  • Support the firm’s business development efforts by leveraging existing relationships and seeking new opportunities

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a top-tier law firm environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: Commercial Real Estate, Tax, Finance, Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions
  • A portable book of business (of any size) is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to client management and firm development
  • Strong leadership potential with an ability to manage complex matters and drive business growth

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in the state of Colorado (or eligible to become licensed)

Skills:

  • High-level legal drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent client relationship management abilities
  • Strong business development acumen
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and strategy
