Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced personal injury attorney to join their team in Stamford, CT. The successful candidate will provide legal representation and counsel to clients, ensuring their rights and obligations are clearly understood and upheld.

Duties

  • Represent and counsel clients regarding their legal rights and obligations.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate case information thoroughly.
  • Ensure adherence to statute of limitations and notice requirements.
  • Negotiate to secure fair, timely, and reasonable settlements or verdicts.
  • Provide outstanding client service in a professional and ethical manner.

  • Work in the Stamford location with occasional travel to other CT offices or courts.
  • Follow the firm's operating procedures and management guidelines.

Requirements

  • Admitted to CT Bar in good standing.
  • Experience negotiating and settling plaintiff personal injury cases.
  • Trial experience is a plus.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop positive rapport with a diverse group of people.
  • Proven capacity to work efficiently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Balance working independently and collaborating with others.
  • Proactive, results-focused work ethic.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admitted to the Connecticut Bar.
