Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level Litigation Attorney with over five years of experience to join its team in Southern California. The attorney will focus on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.

Duties

• Defend clients in warranty actions involving automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers.
• Conduct trials and arbitrations, including delivering opening statements and closing arguments.
• Examine witnesses and engage in motion practice, depositions, and mediations.
• Perform legal research and draft legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
• Extensive trial and arbitration experience.
• Strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
