Duties

  • Manage and maintain default files in compliance with firm standards.

  • Handle a national portfolio of loans for financial institutions.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences as needed.
  • Ensure data integrity in case management and client systems.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly via various communication methods.
  • Utilize case management systems to meet deadlines for pleadings.
  • Maximize client billing opportunities while maintaining compliance.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in the default servicing industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and managerial skills.
  • Superior attention to detail and self-motivation.
  • Excellent proofreading, spelling, and grammar skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar of New Mexico.
  • Licenses to practice law in other states are a plus.
  • Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac approval is a plus.
