Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Health Care Attorney specializing in transactional matters to join their team in Riverside, CA. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in health care transactions, providing legal services to hospitals, clinics, and other health care providers.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate physician services agreements, medical director agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Advise on provider acquisitions, affiliations, joint ventures, and related transaction documents.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state fraud and abuse laws, licensing requirements, and corporate practice of medicine restrictions.
  • Provide counsel on a broad spectrum of operational, compliance, and transactional health care matters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent, hands-on health care transactional experience.
  • Significant responsibility for drafting and negotiating professional services and vendor agreements.
  • Deep familiarity with federal and state fraud and abuse laws.
  • Excellent drafting, project management, and client service skills.
  • Bar admission in California.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
