Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Health Care Litigation Associate in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of litigation experience with a focus on health care law, assisting clients such as health plans and hospitals with complex legal issues.

Duties

• Litigate health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters.
• Advise on health care regulatory and compliance issues.
• Handle arbitration and litigation of reimbursement disputes.
• Assist with health care operations and health information privacy and security.
• Engage in provider and vendor contracting, and payer-provider disputes.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of litigation experience in health care law.
• Admitted to practice in California.
• Public agency experience is a plus.
• Experience with Medi-Cal and public health care providers preferred.
• Admission in Nevada or willingness to take the Nevada bar exam is desirable.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
