Duties:

  • Draft a range of estate planning documents, including:

    • Wills

    • Revocable trusts

    • Irrevocable trusts

    • Ancillary documents (powers of attorney, health care directives, etc.)

  • Oversee the preparation of federal estate and gift tax returns

  • Manage probate processes and the administration of trusts and estates

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to implement estate strategies tailored to individual needs

  • Maintain detailed documentation and manage case timelines

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, fiduciaries, and court personnel

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate

  • Proficiency in drafting estate planning instruments and managing tax compliance obligations

  • Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to procedural detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Commitment to client confidentiality and ethical legal practice

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida and good standing

Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of estate and gift tax laws

  • Ability to manage multiple client matters efficiently

  • Proficiency with legal research tools and estate planning software
