Associate Attorney

Duties

• Manage cases from inception through pre-litigation, litigation, and resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) of litigation experience, personal injury preferred.
• Proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw.
• Ability to draft detailed legal documents clearly and accurately.
• Effective negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with legal administrative tasks including document management and case tracking.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple cases efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Connecticut bar license (required).
