Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join the loan servicing and asset management team within the Real Estate Finance group in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, law firm or clerking experience, and excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Duties

  • Manage loan servicing consent transactions and loan modifications.
  • Handle loan sales and other asset management matters.
  • Collaborate with team members to support national practice growth.
  • Navigate complex real estate finance subject matter effectively.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
  • Exposure to CMBS, CRE CLOs, and other securitized products preferred.
  • Ambition and team-orientation to support practice growth.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.

  • Strong research, writing, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle complex transactions efficiently.
