A law firm seeks an experienced Advertising and Promotions Attorney at the Partner level to join their team in Greenville, NC. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in advertising, marketing, and promotions across traditional and new media, and will play a key role in expanding the firm's practice in this area.

Duties

  • Provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters.
  • Protect clients' business interests and brand elements throughout campaign life cycles.
  • Counsel clients on avoiding and responding to challenges from various entities.
  • Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships and participate in business development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in advertising law.
  • Proven record of successful client representation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
