Job Title: Lead Trial Attorney

Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Manage personal injury cases from initial consultation through trial and final resolution

  • Develop and implement case strategies informed by the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

  • Draft and respond to legal motions and discovery

  • Conduct and defend depositions

  • Represent clients in court, including jury trials

  • Provide attentive, client-centered communication throughout the case lifecycle

  • Collaborate with support teams to ensure the smooth progression of legal work

  • Adapt firm best practices while also contributing innovative approaches to litigation

Requirements:

  • Active license in good standing with the State Bar of Texas, Arizona, Colorado, or New Mexico

  • Minimum 1 year of litigation experience, with preference for personal injury background (plaintiff or defense side)

  • Demonstrated jury trial experience

  • Strong command of motion practice and legal procedure

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships professionally and empathetically

  • Experience with deposition practice

  • Willingness to receive and apply feedback constructively

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • State Bar admission (TX, AZ, CO, or NM) in good standing

Skills:

  • Exceptional written and oral advocacy

  • Deep knowledge of Texas civil procedure and rules of evidence

  • Organized, results-driven, and detail-oriented
