Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Projects and Energy Finance Of Counsel to join its team in Dallas, Texas. This role focuses on energy transition financing matters, offering the opportunity to work on internationally recognized projects, including innovative financing deals in the energy transition sector.

Duties

  • Handle transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies.
  • Manage tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
  • Collaborate with clients, lawyers, and business professionals to deliver high-quality work.
  • Produce timely and accurate deliverables, and respond to correspondence efficiently.
  • Foster positive work relationships and comply with firm policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
  • Proven experience in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD)

  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
