Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Transactional Real Estate Attorney in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and refinances. This role requires managing transactions from start to finish, working directly with clients, and handling multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Represent clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and refinances.
  • Conduct and manage legal due diligence, including title and survey reviews.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and loan documents.
  • Coordinate and manage transactions through closing.
  • Advise clients on transactional risks and solutions.
  • Participate in marketing and business development efforts.
  • Adhere to firm policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Active New York State Bar license in good standing.
  • 4+ years of transactional commercial real estate experience.
  • Strong experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.

  • Active New York State Bar license.
