A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Personal Injury in Denver, CO. The role involves managing cases from intake through settlement, ensuring effective representation and compliance while utilizing a case management system.

Duties

  • Manage cases from intake to settlement, including client engagement and documentation.
  • Evaluate and investigate cases by reviewing claims and preparing case plans.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
  • Review and summarize medical records to strengthen case strategies.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including claims and demand letters.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties.
  • Provide legal guidance at mediations, depositions, and hearings.
  • Monitor case costs to ensure compliance with policies and agreements.
  • Stay current on legislation and legal practices through ongoing training.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree with admission to the Bar in Arizona.
  • 1-4 years of experience in personal injury or related areas.
  • Solid understanding of Tort Law and insurance claims processes.
  • Experience in drafting legal documentation and reviewing claims.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in negotiation and persuasion.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient in MS Office and case management software.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate degree

Certifications

  • Admission to the Bar in Arizona
