Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Attorney in Denver, CO. The successful candidate will independently manage a caseload of personal injury litigation cases, supported by a full-time paralegal, with flexibility in managing their time and office hours.

Duties

• Handle personal injury litigation cases from initiation through trial.
• Draft pleadings and conduct depositions.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery and engage in motions practice.
• Analyze case records and legal issues.
• Retain and prepare expert witnesses and disclosures.
• Negotiate settlements.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Colorado.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in personal injury civil litigation.
• Civil jury trial experience required.
• Proficient in Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure, civil discovery, and motions practice.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage case dockets and deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
• Licensed in Federal Court for the District of Colorado.
