Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Cooperative and Condominium Attorney in New York City. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience advising and counseling cooperative and condominium Boards on a wide range of legal matters.

Duties

  • Advise and counsel cooperative and condominium Boards.
  • Manage legal aspects of cooperative and condominium operations.
  • Handle shareholder disputes and common charge collections.
  • Engage in sponsor litigation and breach of contract cases.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in cooperative and condominium law.
  • Proven ability to counsel Boards on legal matters.
  • Experience with shareholder disputes and sponsor litigation preferred.
  • Bankruptcy experience is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.
