Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its office in Mount Laurel, NJ. The firm is looking for motivated attorneys to engage with clients, insurance carriers, and the court, offering autonomy and professional development in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct extensive legal research.
• Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs.
• Provide effective and timely communications and legal advice to clients and claims personnel.
• Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
• Ensure prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases.
• Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings.

Requirements

• J.D. and admission to the NJ and PA Bar desired; admission in other states is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance defense or related setting.
• Litigation experience required, including depositions and discovery preparation.
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent work ethic.
