Duties

• Collaborate with firm members and clients to determine and modify case strategies.
• Collect evidence to support client positions.
• Guide clients through probate, trust, and conservatorship matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions and summarize discovery.
• Make court appearances and participate in settlement conferences.
• Handle bench trials when ready.

Requirements

• Active California Bar member in good standing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective research and writing skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
