Job Overview
A law firm seeks a litigation associate attorney in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of experience in commercial litigation and demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach to managing diverse legal matters.

Duties

  • Manage a wide range of commercial litigation cases, including insurance defense and business disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and draft briefs for various litigation phases.
  • Attend hearings and mediations to represent clients effectively.
  • Respond to and object to discovery requests.
  • Take or defend depositions as part of case preparation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Hands-on experience in all phases of litigation.
  • License in good standing in Texas.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
