Associate Attorney - Transportation Litigation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced litigation Associate Attorney to join its Transportation and Commercial Litigation Practice Group in San Diego, CA. The role offers a dynamic environment for professional growth and collaboration, representing esteemed clients in a variety of legal matters.

Duties

• Provide counsel and litigation strategies for transportation and commercial litigation matters.
• Manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery, pleadings, motions, depositions, mediations, and trial.
• Deliver comprehensive and clear reporting to client representatives.
• Negotiate and communicate effectively with opposing counsel.
• Draft and respond to correspondence.

Requirements

• Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in transportation, commercial litigation, products liability, and/or general liability.
• Experienced in depositions and writing and arguing motions, including for summary judgment.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated professional capable of working independently and within a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.
