Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with over three years of experience in estate planning and tax to join their Trusts and Estates Practice Group in St. Louis, Missouri. The successful candidate will counsel families and individuals on estate administration and planning, as well as work with corporate clients on succession issues and charitable institutions on planned giving matters.

Duties

• Advise clients on income, estate, gift, GST, and other tax laws.
• Develop estate and wealth planning techniques and prepare related documents.
• Draft premarital agreements.
• Conduct research and analysis of complex state and federal tax law issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, both in writing and verbally.

Requirements

• Missouri law license required.
• Experience in estate planning and tax law.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
