Duties

• Serve as a senior member of the Labor & Employment team, providing strategic counsel on workplace matters.
• Manage and expand client relationships, including business development and cross-collaboration.
• Lead state and federal litigation and administrative agency matters.
• Advise on compliance and employee matters such as discipline, terminations, and leave of absences.
• Perform policy drafting, investigations, and trainings.
• Assess risk versus benefits of employment-related decisions as a business partner to clients.
• Train and mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice group growth.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong litigation, counseling, and client service skills.
• Bar admission in Iowa required or eligibility to waive in.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Iowa.
