Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Project Attorney with 2-6 years of experience in transaction-related projects to join their team in Wheeling, West Virginia. This role offers the opportunity for fully remote work across the United States.

Duties

  • Lead project intake, staffing, workflow planning, budgeting, execution, documentation, and communication.
  • Conduct due diligence, contract review, drafting, and audits for various sectors including mergers & acquisitions and energy.
  • Utilize Gen AI and machine learning tools.
  • Collaborate with deal team attorneys, clients, and vendors.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor and successful bar passage in a U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Some practice experience preferred.
  • Significant eDiscovery experience, preferably with tech tools like TAR.
  • Strong supervisory and team-building skills.
  • 2-6 years of experience in project lead or supervisory roles.
  • Excellent communication and interactive skills.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and office software, as well as litigation support and document review software.
  • Good writing skills.

  • Juris Doctor
