Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly-qualified and motivated attorney to join its Health Care Alignment and Organizations practice group in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on supporting health care clients with regulatory and compliance needs in various transactions. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in health care transactions and a detailed understanding of the industry and regulatory landscape.

Duties

  • Support health care transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Analyze key health care issues impacting transactions, such as anti-kickback and Stark laws.
  • Coordinate regulatory notifications and filings.
  • Manage strategy and risk mitigation for regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on potential targets.
  • Assist with health care review of purchase agreements and related documents.
  • Implement best practices for managing regulatory aspects of transactions.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in health care transactions.
  • Knowledge of the health care industry and regulatory landscape.
  • Experience in home health, hospice, behavioral health, or hospitals is a plus.
  • Strong writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
