Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a seasoned Senior Litigation Associate Attorney with over 5 years of experience in litigation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing complex legal cases, conducting discovery, interviewing witnesses, and representing clients in court. A strong background in federal court litigation and experience in high-stakes matters such as construction or energy-related disputes are highly desirable.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage litigation cases from inception through resolution
  • Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions
  • Perform thorough legal research and analysis
  • Draft compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Represent clients in court, hearings, and trials
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Mentor junior associates and support staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
  • Experience in federal court litigation and handling complex legal cases
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
