Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate to join its Business Law Department in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will possess two to four years of experience in complex corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general business counseling. Experience in mid to large law firm M&A is preferred but not required.

Duties

• Handle complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Engage in private equity transactions and general business counseling.
• Review and draft commercial contracts.

Requirements

• Two to four years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in-person at the Milwaukee office.
• Superior academic credentials.

Education

• Law degree (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• License to practice in Wisconsin or eligibility to waive into WI Bar.

Skills
