Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join its Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division in Dallas, TX. The role involves working with a team of attorneys in the Renewable Energy group, engaging in diverse renewable energy projects, including project development, commercial transactions, and financing.

Duties

• Collaborate on renewable energy project development and transactions.
• Negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements.
• Engage in financing and transactional practice areas.
• Work on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and project development.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions or related fields.
• Exposure to negotiating, drafting, and closing commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with tax credit matters, including ITCs or PTCs, is a plus.
• Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas or eligible for admission without examination.
