A law firm seeks a Transportation Litigation Attorney in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves representing a large logistics services provider, focusing on litigation within the transportation sector. Duties

  • Manage a litigation caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on transportation laws and regulations.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in the state of Kentucky.
  • Ohio and/or Indiana licensure is a plus.
  • 5+ years of general litigation experience.
  • Experience in transportation and logistics preferred.
  • Superior analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Deposition and law and motion experience preferred.
  • Sophisticated technical skills necessary.

Education
