Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Transactional and Bond Attorney to join its team in the United States. The attorney will support the firm's public finance practice, working with issuers, underwriters, borrowers, and financial institutions on a variety of public finance transactions.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents, including bond resolutions and loan agreements.
• Manage all aspects of the transaction lifecycle from structuring through closing.
• Serve as bond counsel to municipalities, school districts, and public agencies.
• Collaborate effectively within a team to address complex finance issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of five to seven years of experience in public finance or municipal law.
• Strong background in securities laws and tax-exempt financing.
• Ability to manage complex matters with minimal oversight.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in one or more states.
