Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Real Estate and Business Litigation Attorney in Irvine, CA. This role offers the chance to engage with complex legal matters for a varied clientele, providing direct client interaction and mentorship in a collaborative environment. The position requires in-person attendance at least four days a week.

Duties

  • Handle commercial real estate and property disputes.
  • Manage partnership and corporate conflicts.
  • Litigate commercial loan and creditors' rights cases.
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions.
  • Conduct depositions and participate in mediations, arbitrations, or trials.
  • Mentor junior attorneys.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of real estate and business litigation experience.
  • Strong litigation background with excellent research and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively.
  • California bar admission.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Experience in a sophisticated law firm or government litigation background preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admission to the California State Bar.

  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy abilities.
  • Sound judgment and initiative.
