Job Title: Lead Trial Attorney

Job Overview:
A leading personal injury law firm based in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a seasoned litigator to serve as Lead Trial Attorney. This role is ideal for an ambitious attorney with courtroom experience, strong client rapport skills, and a passion for delivering impactful legal outcomes. The firm offers a focused caseload, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for career progression within a collaborative, high-performance legal team.

Duties:

  • Manage complex personal injury matters from initial intake through jury verdict

  • Draft and respond to legal motions and discovery with strategic precision

  • Develop litigation strategies grounded in procedural and evidentiary rules

  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships throughout the case lifecycle

  • Conduct and defend depositions

  • Collaborate closely with litigation support and paralegal teams

  • Attend firm-wide trainings and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives

Requirements:

  • Active license and good standing with at least one of the following: Arizona, Texas, Colorado, or New Mexico Bar

  • Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, preferably involving personal injury matters

  • Proven experience managing jury trials

  • Demonstrated ability to independently handle case strategy and client communication

  • Skilled in motion practice and courtroom procedure

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities

  • Willingness to receive and apply feedback constructively

  • Spanish bilingual skills preferred but not required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to a relevant State Bar (AZ, TX, CO, or NM)

Skills:

  • Strategic litigation planning

  • Motion and discovery drafting

  • Client communication and service delivery

  • Deep knowledge of civil procedure and rules of evidence

  • Trial advocacy

  • Team collaboration and case coordination

  • Time management and task prioritization

Job Location:

  • Phoenix, Arizona

  • Hybrid option with one remote day per week
