Duties

  • Collaborates with clients and inventors at all stages of the patent process.
  • Prepares and files patent applications.
  • Conducts freedom-to-operate and patentability analysis.
  • Assists in other responsibilities or projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Admitted to or eligible for admission in Massachusetts or New York.
  • Admitted to the USPTO.

Education

  • Ph.D. in organic chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to the USPTO.

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
