Associate Attorney

Duties

• Independently manage a litigation caseload
• Conduct depositions
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
• Review and analyze discovery requests
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions
• Provide trial preparation and support
• Maintain accurate time records

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in general litigation, complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of Louisiana
• Experience with motion practice and depositions
• Preferred experience in leading plaintiff and expert depositions
• Ability to work independently
• Organized and efficient work style
• Superior research and writing skills
• Ability to multi-task and analyze complex matters

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the state of Louisiana
