Job Overview
A law firm seeks a senior associate or counsel to join its Real Estate Investment and Finance group in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in complex commercial real estate and demonstrate the ability to manage transactional closings effectively.

Duties

  • Handle real estate debt and equity transactions.
  • Draft transactional documents, including equity operating documents, loan documents, and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Conduct transactional due diligence, including title and survey reviews.
  • Manage all aspects of transactional closings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in complex commercial real estate.
  • Admitted to the Illinois State Bar or eligible for submission on waiver.
  • Experience at a nationally or regionally recognized law firm.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
