Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level associate for its structured finance team in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions, with a focus on repo finance, digital infrastructure, trade receivable finance, warehouse lending, and structured private credit facilities.

Duties

  • Represent financial institutions in various structured finance transactions.
  • Engage in asset-backed securitization and structured lending activities.
  • Collaborate with team members on complex financial deals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with financial institutions as issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and/or purchasers.
  • Interest in securitization, capital markets, private credit, and/or leveraged finance.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Previous large law firm experience.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in New York.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
