Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Professional Liability Attorney for its Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will manage sophisticated professional liability matters and collaborate with a diverse team. This role requires strong litigation, research, writing, and advocacy skills, with experience in independently managing cases through all litigation phases.

Duties

• Manage a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions; participate in mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients, providing case updates and strategic guidance.
• Handle a broad range of professional liability matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex litigation matters.

Requirements

• Admission to practice in California required.
• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, or other professional liability matters preferred.
• Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.
