A law firm in Boston, MA is seeking a dedicated Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their esteemed Litigation Department. The role offers the opportunity to handle complex litigation matters while maintaining high standards of professionalism and client service.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs for federal and state court proceedings.
  • Manage discovery processes, including drafting responses, requests, and handling disputes in complex litigation matters.
  • Collaborate professionally with clients and team members within the firm's Litigation Department.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding federal and state court rules and practices.
  • Continuously research and acquire knowledge of new substantive legal topics as they arise in cases.
  • Maintain superior time management and organizational skills to effectively handle multiple cases simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, in good standing.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Familiarity with complex litigation processes, including discovery management.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to professionalism.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar, in good standing.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting memoranda and briefs.
