Junior Litigation Associate

Job Overview

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases and legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist with case management and preparation for litigation.
• Review and analyze documents, evidence, and legal filings.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
• Collaborate with other attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Represent clients in trial.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one state.
• Knowledge of patent, trademark, and copyright laws, regulations, and procedures or willingness to learn.
• Litigation experience.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
