Duties

• Provide legal advice and strategic defense plans to clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents.
• Analyze and interpret complex medical and legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and judges.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' interests.
• Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and apply this knowledge to case strategy.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• 1-15 years of experience in workers' compensation defense.
