Duties

• Draft appellate briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Present oral arguments before appellate courts.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys to preserve issues for appeal.
• Contribute to trial-level work, including dispositive motions.
• Stay informed on developments in insurance defense and appellate practice.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
• 5-10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Enthusiasm for handling both appellate and non-appellate matters.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.
