A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice in Orlando, FL. The attorney will represent clients affected by medical negligence, managing all aspects of their cases from intake to resolution. This role involves collaboration with a team to ensure fair outcomes through settlement or trial.

Duties

• Handle all aspects of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution.
• Evaluate the merits of claims and develop case strategies.
• Provide guidance and counsel to clients with clear communication.
• Review medical records and coordinate with expert witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Florida medical malpractice law.
• Manage a substantial caseload and provide leadership to support staff.
• Draft pleadings, create litigation plans, and conduct discovery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of medical malpractice litigation experience.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership skills to build and manage a legal team.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with clients during challenging times.
• Determination to achieve the best results for clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
